Privacy
The short version: if you give us your email, we use it to send you the catch-up you asked for, and for nothing else. We do not sell it. You can leave in one click.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you enter it, plus your cadence choice (every game day or weekly) and which team you follow.
- A note in your browser (local storage) remembering when you last visited, so the slider can default to how long you have actually been away. This never leaves your device and is not a tracking cookie.
- Basic, aggregate request logs from our host, used to keep the site up. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Confirmed opt-in
We only start emailing you after you click the confirmation link we send. If you never confirm, we do not send the digest, and your pending signup is discarded.
Your controls
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it stops all email immediately.
- To see or delete the data tied to your email, write to catchup@gamesbehind.com and we will handle it.
Who processes your data
We keep your data with a small number of service providers who act only on our instructions: our database host, our web host, and our email delivery provider. They process your email so the digest can be stored and sent; they do not use it for their own purposes.
